About Melissa Ogden, Ph.D., ABPP-CN
Melissa Ogden, Ph.D., ABPP-CN is a board certified neuropsychologist and clinical psychologist who has
been in private practice in Mobile, Alabama since 2000. Dr. Ogden has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from
the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and completed a two-year post-doctoral
fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. She is board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and she holds an adjunct faculty appointment at the University of South Alabama in the Department of Neurology. Her practice focuses on performing psychological and neuropsychological evaluations of adults with neurological, psychological, and medical conditions in clinical and medical-legal settings. Dr. Ogden has testified as an expert in clinical psychology and neuropsychology in state and federal courts.

About Jake Epker, Ph.D.
Jake Epker, PhD earned a B.A. in psychology from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts. He subsequently attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where he
earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. Following graduation, Dr. Epker completed a two-year post-
doctoral fellowship in Health Psychology, with a focus on chronic pain. He moved to Mobile, Alabama
in September 2000. His practice has a behavioral medicine focus, with emphasis on the evaluation and treatment of individuals with work-related injuries, including PTSD, chronic pain, and those being considered for spine surgery. Dr. Epker is often hired as an expert and has extensive experience evaluating individuals involved in legal cases to determine the type and extent of any psychological injuries in medico-legal cases. In addition, Dr. Epker stays involved with teaching and research, has published over a dozen articles and book chapters within the specialty of behavioral medicine and lectures at local and regional meetings on related topics.

About Maridith Hollis, MD
Maridith Hollis, M.D., joins the Ogden & Epker team as an outpatient psychiatrist working in Midtown Mobile. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX, with honors in history and psychology. She attended and completed medical school and residency training in psychiatry at the University of South Alabama. During residency, Dr. Hollis served as co-chief resident and was honored with the PRITE award for the highest score on the annual residency psychiatry exam. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in adult psychiatry. Prior to joining the team at Ogden and Epker, Dr. Hollis worked as an inpatient psychiatrist and assistant medical director in community mental health, treating and advocating for a critical patient population. In addition to her role in caring for patients with Ogden & Epker, Dr. Hollis continues to serve as adjunct faculty at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry.
Dr. Hollis has vast knowledge in treating mood and psychotic conditions and extensive experience in forensic psychiatry. Services include medication management of all adult psychiatric conditions and supplemental therapy. She recognizes the importance of overcoming healthcare inequalities and strives to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for all of her patients.
Dr. Hollis is now accepting new patients and treats adults ages 18 and up on a fee for service basis and does not accept insurance at this time. Her office is located conveniently in Midtown Mobile at 2502 Old Shell Road, Mobile, AL 36607
